En este artículo se hace un estudio comparativo entre las diversas vertientes del mito escatológico de las religiones monoteístas de Asia occidental, de una parte, y de la teoría política y la filosofía de la historia en el pensamiento de Karl Marx, de la otra. Se definen, tanto las semejanzas temáticas, como estructurales de los dos discursos, el religioso antiguo y el revolucionario moderno. Se comenta la interpretación de la teoría de Marx en tanto mito prometeico, llevada a cabo por Leonard P. Wessell. A comparative study between the diverse versions of the eschatological myth of the monoteist religions of West Asia, on one side, and of the political theory and history philosophy in Karl Marx’s thinking, on the other, is done in this article. The theme and structure similitaries between both discourses, the ancient religious and the modem revolutionary, are defined. Leonard P.
