Este trabajo analiza una serie de paralelismos entre la estructura mítico-funcional de tres deidades del panteón afrocubano y los roles de género tradicionales de los hombres y mujeres en Cuba, así como los "ajustes" de dichas funciones a favor de un discurso de género dominante y legitimado por las prácticas culturales.
