Después de los ataques del 11 de septiembre de 2001, se han publicado diversos estudios sobre el tema del terrorismo y la actuación de Al-Qaeda. Esta organización se ha caracterizado por emitir constantemente comunicados, cuyo estudio constituye una importante veta de investigación para las ciencias de la comunicación, el discurso político y las relaciones internacionales. After the attacks of September 11, 2001, several studies have been published on the theme of terrorism and the performance of Al-Qaeda- This organization has been characterized as constantly transmitting messages, whose study constitutes an important vein of investigation for the science of communication, the political discourse and international relations. In this context, the present article examines some of the results of the semantic-pragmatic analysis applied to the statement made by this organization after the attacks on the Twin Towers and the U.S. Pentagon, which was the most widely presented by the national and international press, statement that makes clear that religion is not the substantial argumentative axis, but the problematic politics of Middle East as well as its implications on the relation West-Islamic world.... view less
