El artículo elabora un modelo analítico que, a partir del enfoque del curso de vida, intenta identificar y comprender la articulación de factores sociales que favorecen la reproducción, acentuación o superación de las desventajas sociales entre jóvenes. El modelo analítico analiza el curso de vida desde una perspectiva longitudinal y enfatiza su carácter procesual. El ejercicio de reconstrucción analítica se realiza a partir de la sistematización y análisis de 34 relatos de vida de jóvenes mexicanos que experimentaron privaciones sociales severas durante su niñez/adolescencia. This article develops an analytical model which, using a life-trajectory approach, attempts to identify and understand the articulation of social factors that favors reproduction, deepening or overcoming social disadvantages among youths. The analytical model analyzes longitudinal life-trajectories and places emphasis in their evolving character. The analytical reconstruction exercise stems from the systematization and analyses of 34 life-histories of Mexican youths who experienced harsh social deprivation during their childhood/adolescence.
