Deutungsmusteranalyse in der soziologischen Sozialpolitikforschung: Überlegungen zu einem qualitativen Forschungsansatz

Abstract

In der Sozialpolitikanalyse gewinnen wissenssoziologische Zugänge zunehmend an Bedeutung. Nicht nur rechtliche und institutionelle Regelungen sind von Interesse, sondern auch Deutungen oder Werteorientierungen im Wohlfahrtsstaat und in spezifischen Milieus. Der vorliegende Aufsatz geht von der Annahme aus, dass lebensweltliche Wissensbestände sozialer Akteure sozialpolitisch bestimmt sind. Ziel des Aufsatzes ist die Diskussion eines theoretisch-konzeptionellen Zugangs zu solchen Wissensbeständen und damit auch eine Diskussion zum Stellenwert der Deutungsmusteranalyse für die Sozialpolitikforschung. Der Theorievergleich der strukturalistischen Wissenskonzepte von Bourdieu und Oevermann steckt einen geeigneten theoretischen Rahmen und eröffnet analytische Anknüpfungspunkte für die wissenssoziologische Sozialpolitikanalyse. Abschließend werden die theoretischen Dimensionen anhand einer empirischen Studie reflektiert, die mit dem Instrument der Gruppendiskussion eine sozialpolitische Innovation untersucht.

The focus of the sociology of knowledge is getting more important in the sociological research of social politics. Not only juridical and institutional settings are of interest but also patterns of interpretation in the welfare state and in specific social contexts. The paper points out that knowledge of everyday life of social actors are determined by social politics. The aim of the paper is a discussion of a theoretical approach. The comparison of the structuralist theories of knowledge of Bourdieu and Oevermann opens a useful theoretical framework for the sociological research of social politics. Concluding the theoretical framework will be used to analyse a empirical study.
