Biographisch-narrative Gesprächsführung: zu den Bedingungen heilsamen Erzählens im Forschungs- und Beratungskontext

Abstract

Welche Prozesse werden mit lebensgeschichtlichen Großerzählungen und mit einer biographisch-narrativen Gesprächsführung bei den Erzählenden ausgelöst? Welche Chancen bietet diese Gesprächsführung für das Einsetzen erster heilsamer Prozesse und welche Gefahren sind damit verbunden? Diesen Fragen wird insbesondere im Kontext von Forschungsinterviews, aber auch von Beratungssituationen nachgegangen. Kontrastiert werden die Bedingungen und Regeln einer Gesprächsführung bei Menschen in einer akuten Lebenskrise mit der bei Menschen in einer stabilen Lebenssituation. Die Analyse eines 2000 in Deutschland geführten Gesprächs mit der albanischen Familie Morina aus dem Kosovo verdeutlicht, inwiefern hier einerseits Zurückhaltung in der Gesprächsführung geboten ist und andererseits bestimmte Formen von vorsichtiger Unterstützung im Erzählprozess dennoch hilfreich sein können.

What are the processes prompted in narrators by telling their life story and by the interviewer guiding the conversation in a narrative-biographical style? What are the chances offered by this method of guiding a conversation for setting off initial processes of healing and what are the risks and dangers that go along with it? These questions are pursued especially in the context of research interviews but also in the context of counselling. The conditions of, and the rules for, guiding a conversation with auto-biographers involved in a condition of acute crisis are compared to those that apply to auto-biographers in a stable life situation. The analysis of a conversation that was conducted in Germany, with the Albanian family Morina from Kosovo in the year 2000, shows in what way, on the one hand, restraint in guiding the conversation is required, while on the other, cautious support within the process of story-telling may be helpful.
