Antisemitismus unterscheidet sich von anderen Formen des kollektiven Menschenhasses. Seine Struktur erschließt sich aus der Erkenntnis der Gesellschaft und der Geschichte, die ihn hervorgebracht haben. Er kann als eine besonders bösartige Form des fetischistischen Antikapitalismus interpretiert werden. Der antisemitische Vernichtungswille gilt sowohl dem gesellschaftlichen Identitätszwang als auch der Utopie opferloser Nichtidentität. Das Feindbild 'Jude' steht als Personifikation für beides. Nach Auschwitz ist der Antisemitismus nicht verschwunden, sondern hat sich globalisiert und nimmt im Alltag kapitalistischer Migrationsgesellschaften die eigentümliche Gestalt einer Diversität sich scheinbar widersprechender Antisemitismen an.... view less

Antisemitism differs from other forms of collective hatred. Its structure can be understood only from the society, which produces antisemitism from its own midst. It can be interpretated as a particulary malicious form of fetishistic anti-capitalism. The antisemitic desire for annihilation is aimed at forced identity as well as victimless non-identity. The 'Jew', in which antisemitism turned Jews, is both: the personification of the social principle of identity as well as the non-identical. Antisemitism did not disappear after Auschwitz.
