This portfolio analysis aims to give an overview of Germany’s financial contribution to global health in the period 2002-13 in order to inform the continued development of health strategies and future allocations of official development assistance (ODA) for health, and to ensure transparency to the general public. The main source of data used in the analysis was the Creditor Reporting System (CRS) Aid Activity Database, which is the most comprehensive dataset available for ODA.... view less
