Objective: To provide undergraduate students with the experience of the expanding of the scope of primary health care in activities of home care, introducing complex care activities of home care, for the understanding of the interfaces of the Health Care System. Methods: A report of experience in nursing education with case study, application of NANDA and Calgary Model. Results: The home care is an important tool of technology for access to families and nursing care system in the context of the public policies of health care to the elderly. Conclusion: The primary home care co-existed with complex nursing care and is imperious the expansion of the Family Health Strategy with the constitution of teams for activities of home care, different from family health teams, but in the context of primary care, according to the social demands emerging.... view less
