Ökologische Ideale - zur Typisierung ideologischer Positionen

Abstract

Wenn man von der gegenwärtigen kaum noch artikulationsfähigen antiökologischen Einstellung einmal absieht, dann weist der aktuelle Öko-Diskurs zwei ideologische Hauptrichtungen auf, die sich idealtypisieren lassen als (re-)sakralisierendes Naturverständnis einerseits und anthropozentrisches Naturverständnis andererseits. Diese Hauptrichtungen lassen sich wiederum differenzieren in jeweils zwei Unterströmungen: Zum (re-)sakralisierenden Naturverständnis gibt es eine 'Apokalypse-Now'- und eine 'New-Age'-Version, das anthropozentrisches Naturverständnis fächert sich aus in einen eher wertkonservativen und einen eher liberal-pragmatischen Flügel. Werden diese Positionen weitergedacht, ergeben sich daraus ganz unterschiedliche Konsequenzen für ökologiebewußte Handlungsalternativen sowie für die Beurteilung unserer alltäglichen sozio-ökonomischen Praxis.

Apart from the current antie-cological attitude which is hardly able to be articulated anymore, the actual ecological discussion contains two ideological main streams, that can be ideal-typified as a (re-)sacralizing understanding of nature on the one hand, and as an anthropocentrical understanding of nature on the other hand. These main streams can further be distinguished into two under streams in each case: The re-sacramentalizing understanding of nature includes an "apocalyse-now" and a "new-age"-version; the anthropocentrical understanding of nature can be divided into a rather value-conservative and a rather liberal-pragmatical aspect. If the argumentation of these positions is continued, its result contains completely different consequences for conscious acting-alternatives concerning ecology, as well as for the judgement of our everyday socio-economical practice.
