Risk map as an instrument for the identification of occupational hazard: an integrative review of the literature

Abstract

Objective: Investigating the available evidences in the literature about the elaborations of risk maps; describing the occupational risks approached in the scientific production and the measures of prevention and protection of workers' health. Method: An integrative literature review. Searches were conducted in scientific articles published in the Virtual Health Library (BVS), in the databases LILACS, SciELO and BDENF, selected articles from the last 10 years, in full, in Portuguese, that contains the descriptors and respond to the objective of the study. Results: The content thematic analysis identified two categories: Risk Map: definitions and contributions; Measures for prevention of diseases and disorders aimed at promoting the health of professionals, with two subcategories: Hospital Environment and Primary Health Care. Conclusion: Mapping is important to facilitate the identification of risks and development of important promotional measures for workers' health.
