Objective: To promote, through the Circle of Culture, a critical and reflective space about drugs among young users undergoing treatment. Method: An active-research was developed, conducted in 2012, with ten young drug users, treated for addiction in the therapeutic community Teen Challenge of Ceara. The analysis and interpretation of results favored the discussion according to experiences lived in the group. Results: It was found that friends, family and curiosity were the main risk factors to come to try drugs, and that they now had a more critical view on drugs. Conclusion: It is necessary that health professionals approach the reality of young people, in order to visualize creative and active strategies throughout the teaching-learning process, that enable subject reflections on the search for solutions to the experienced problem-situations in an interactive manner.... view less
