Abstract

Bildung wird immer wichtiger. Die schnellen Veränderungen in der Arbeitswelt und in der nicht auf Erwerb gerichteten freien Lebenszeit verstärken die Bedeutung des Lernens und der Weiterbildung in jeder Lebensphase. Lern- und Bildungszeiten verteilen sich über das ganze Leben. Pädagogik und Bildungspolitik stehen vor einem notwendigen Perspektivenwechsel. Zu den sogenannten "Pflicht- und Akzeptanzwerten" gesellen sich neue Werte von Selbstentfaltung und Selbstbestimmung, von Spontaneität und Flexibilität, von Kommunikationsfähigkeit und Selbstständigkeit.

Education is becoming increasingly important. Due to the rapid changes in the world of work and spare time that is not dedicated to earning a living, the importance of learning and further education is growing in every stage of life. Learning and education continues throughout our entire lifetimes. Pedagogics and education policy are faced with a vital change in perspective. The longstanding values of duty and acceptance are being joined by new values of self-development and self-determination, of spontaneity and flexibility, of communication skills and independence.
