El discurso de y sobre los desempleados españoles mayores de 45 años en los blogs

Abstract

Los desempleados mayores de 45 años son un colectivo social que está sufriendo la crisis económica española actual con especial intensidad. Esto es silenciado por los medios de comunicación. Esta invisibilidad social reduce sus oportunidades de reincorporarse al mercado laboral y daña su autoimagen. Los blogs, como sitios webs personales sobre un contenido específico, pueden ser una alternativa de presencia en la sociedad de la información. La finalidad de este trabajo es comprender la situación de estas personas a través de los textos generados en los blogs dedicados a empleo y formación. Para ello se usa el análisis lingüístico y crítico del discurso. Se analizan 12 blog españoles de especial relevancia. En estos blog aparece información relevante para comprender y visibilizar a este colectivo y su problemática. Los resultados muestran las temáticas principales que componen el discurso, así como sus principales orientaciones y contenidos (vivencias personales, reflexión, orientación vocacional y profesional). Concluimos que su situación de invisibilidad, así como de falta real de empleo está afectando a sus vidas, familias, economías e identidades. Reivindican la necesidad de tener empleo para ser y sentirse ciudadanos.

Those unemployed and over 45 years of age represent a social group that is suffering with special intensity in the current Spanish economic crisis. It is silenced by the mass media. This social invisibility reduces their chances of reintegration into the labor market and it damages their self-image. Blogs, as personal websites on a specific topic, can be an alternative for a presence in an information society. The purpose of the work reported in this article is to understand the situation of these people through texts generated on blogs devoted to employment and training. Linguistic and critical discourse analyses are used for this purpose. Twelve blogs that have special relevance, are discussed. These blogs contain relevant information to help us understand and to visualize this group and its problematic. The results reveal the main themes that make the discourse, and its main orientations and contents (personal experiences, reflection, vocational, and professional guidance). We conclude that the actual joblessness and the invisibility of these individuals are affecting their lives, family, financial security, and identity. They claim the need for employment in order to maintain their identities as citizens. (author's abstract)

Arbeitslose über 45 sind eine soziale Gruppe, die besonders unter der aktuellen ökonomischen Krise in Spanien leidet. Die Massenmedien ignorieren sie, und diese soziale Unsichtbarkeit reduziert die Aussichten auf eine Reintegration weiter und schädigt deren Selbstbild. Blogs können als individuelle Webpräsenz zu einem spezifischen Thema in der Informationsgesellschaft eine Alternative bieten. Ziel der empirischen Studie, aus der in diesem Beitrag berichtet wird, war es, die Lebenssituation dieser Betroffenengruppe mithilfe von Blogtexten zu Arbeit(slosigkeit) nachzuvollziehen. Hierzu kamen linguistische und kritische Diskursanalysen zum Einsatz. Aus zwölf Blogs, die im Kontext unserer Fragestellung besonders bedeutsam waren, wird im Beitrag berichtet: Sie helfen, die Anliegen besser zu verstehen und zu visualisieren und zentrale Themen zu identifizieren (persönliche Erfahrungen, Reflexion, berufliche und professionelle Anleitung). Es ist hiervon ausgehend nachvollziehbar, dass die die aktuelle Arbeitslosigkeit und deren mediale Unsichtbarkeit Leben, Familien, finanzielle Sicherheit und Identität dieser Personengruppe beeinträchtigen. Die Wiederherstellung von Beschäftigung ist für sie Voraussetzung, um ihre Identität als Bürger/innen zu bewahren. (Autorenreferat)
