This paper presents the most common errors of cross-cultural management research. Research in this field is based primarily on the concepts and methods of cross-cultural psychology (e.g. Hofstede 1980, Schwartz 1994, Triandis 1980). It is shown how current research from the Cultural Studies can benefit this field, especially in the area of cultural theory. Furthermore, there is an indepth definition of both management and culture, including the differences between the German and English use of these terms.},
