Das Buch informiert über die Entwicklung von Mixed Methods, wichtige Begriffe und konzeptionelle Anbindungen bzw. Abgrenzungen, Forschungsdesigns und Überlegungen zur (softwaregestützten) Datenanalyse. Was diesem Überblick allerdings fehlt, ist ein Blick auf mögliche Grenzen und typische Probleme sowie Problemlösungsstrategien im Zuge von Methodenintegrationen." (Autorenreferat)

The book discusses the development of mixed methods, important definitions, conceptual connections, and demarcations, as well as research designs and dimensions for (software-based) data analysis. What this overview is lacking, however, is a discussion on the limitations and typical problems of combining methods, as well as problem-solving strategies for the integration of different methods."
