Bildungstheoretische Perspektive: Jugendkultur und das Mobile Web

Abstract

"Die mobile Nutzung von Webangeboten nimmt immer stärker zu und gehört insbesondere für Jugendliche selbstverständlich zum Alltag. Dieser Beitrag zielt darauf ab, bildungstheoretische Überlegungen im Kontext sozialer Medien, insbesondere den mobilen Angeboten, zu diskutieren und vor dem Hintergrund informeller Lern- und Bildungsprozesse zu reflektieren. Neben theoretischen Bezügen zum Konzept der Jugendkultur, des informellen Lernens und einer Strukturalen Medienbildung wird im Artikel exemplarisch das Soziale Netzwerk Path untersucht. Die Diskussion soll aufzeigen, wie sich das Mobile Web aus bildungstheoretischer Sicht darstellt und welche Konsequenz sich hieraus für Forschung und medienpädagogische Praxis ergeben." "Mobile usage of web services has been growing continuously, and especially for young people, these services are almost a natural part of everyday life. This article aims to discuss perspectives within educational theory in the context of social media, including informal learning, and specifically addresses mobile services. In addition, the theoretical underpinnings of youth culture, informal learning and structural media literacy will be discussed, as well as an exemplary analysis of the social network service Path. This example relies heavily on mobile functions and will therefore help to better define the mobile web from an educational perspective." (author's abstract)
