The measurement of Quality of Life at Work (QLW) has been emerging in the scientific community as an important tool for investigating and evaluating the occupational health of individuals in a holistic manner. The measurement instruments are developed for many different purposes and directions, being held by generic scales of health status and specific scales to a given situation. The objective of this study is to discuss important aspects related to QLW and present in a systematic concept, indicators and measurement instruments used and validated in Brazil. Was conducted a study of narrative review of available knowledge in the literature, consultation with the following databases: DEDALUS, LILACS, MEDLINE and Scielo, based on the periods of 1995-2008. It was conclude that in spiteof being instruments recognized nationally and internationally, therefore further studies of application are not needed to ensure better their psychometric properties, applicability, better management and the possible interference inter-examiner.... view less

A medida de Qualidade de Vida no Trabalho (QVT) vemsurgindo no meio científico como instrumento importante para a investigação e avaliação da saúde ocupacional dos indivíduos, de forma holística. Os instrumentosde medida são desenvolvidos para as mais diversas finalidades e indicações, sendo realizadas através de escalas genéricas do estado de saúde e escalas específicas a uma determinada situação. As- sim, o objetivo do presente estudo é levantar alguns aspectos importantes relacionados à QVT , buscando apresentá-los sistematizadamente sob a forma de conceitos, indicadores e instrumentos de medida utilizados, e validados no Brasil. Realizou-se um estudo de revisão narrativa do conhecimento disponível na literatura, com consulta às seguintes bases de dados: DEDALUS, LILACS, MEDLINE e Scielo, tendo como base os períodos de 1995-2008. Conclui-se que apesar de serem instrumentos reconhecidos nacional e internacionalmente, ainda são necessários mais estudos de aplicação, para melhor assegurar as suaspropriedades psicométricas, aplicabilidade, melhor forma de administração e as possíveis interferências interexaminadores.... view less
