"Das spannungsreiche Feld von Unternehmensberatung und Ethik ist bisher höchstens in Ansätzen geklärt. Dabei wird gerade an der aktuellen Krise der Praxis ein hoher reflexiver Orientierungsbedarf in diesem Feld deutlich. Aus der Verbindung einer systemtheoretisch angelegten Definition von Unternehmensberatung und dem Bezugspunkt der Integrativen Unternehmensethik Peter Ulrichs wird ein generelles Konzept einer Integrativen Unternehmensberatungsethik entwickelt. "Part of the current crisis of the management consultants markets is the observed consultants firms' lack of integrity. Ethical issues have to be taken into account forming the concept of a 'Management Consulting of Integrity'. Firstly, 'Professional Management Consulting' is defined in a system-theoretical vocabulary. The definition clarifies the position and function of consulting in change processes. Secondly, a brief introduction to Peter Ulrich's concept of 'Integrative Business Ethics' is given, outlining the ethical requirements for companies in general. These will be the basis for ethical requirements for consultancies. Thirdly, the synthesis combines both: The definition of 'Professional Management Consulting' and the 'Integrative Business Ethics'. This leads to a general concept of 'Integrative Management Consulting Ethics' which is to be seen as a basis for a 'Management Consulting of Integrity'." (author's abstract)
