Abstract

"Die Ökonomik betrachtet die Menschen, die in Betrieben in abhängiger Stellung arbeiten, als Produktionsfaktoren und Mittel zum Zweck. Es ist Aufgabe einer von der Personalwirtschaft zu trennenden Personalethik, auf die humane Dimension dieses Produktionsfaktors 'Mensch' zu verweisen. In diesem Beitrag wird eine solche Personalethik in den Grundzügen entwickelt und es wird zu klären versucht, ob und wie Personalwirtschaft und Personalethik in Einklang gebracht werden können." "Economists are used to see employees as means of production. It is the task of ethics to attract attention to the special quality of human beings. In contrast to machines they have dignity. The article tries to point out what this means for the management of human resources in enterprises. First different approaches of ethical thought are described. Second these approaches are applied to the field of human resource management. Al last the economic view on employees is compared with the ethical view and it is discussed wether ethics and economics are incompatible or not." (author's abstract)
