"The models of 'good management' and 'rational organization' shape the processes of reorganization of enterprises, administrations and associations. It explains why there is normally such a high degree of similarity between organizations in a given organizational field. However, in the face of such pressures to adapt to the dominating models in their own organizational field, how does one explain change in the models themselves? Based on the analysis of three enterprises, this article develops the thesis that firms are increasingly using their organizational structures as a marketing instrument. Therefore, the strategies of isomorphism are built in such a way, that enterprises are outdoing the models of 'good management' and 'rational organization' by adding their own innovations and variations to the model."
