Eine politische Vision für den SaarLorLux-Raum 2020: Präsentation des Zukunftsbildes 2020

Abstract

Die siebente Gipfelkonferenz der Großregion SaarLorLux hatte auf Anregung des Saarlandes beschlossen, für den internationalen Kooperationsraum Saarland, Lothringen, Luxemburg, Rheinland-Pfalz, Wallonische Region, Französische Gemeinschaft und Deutschsprachige Gemeinschaft Belgiens ein „Zukunftsbild 2020“ erarbeiten zu lassen. Das inzwischen fertig gestellte Zukunftsbild wurde von dem Vorsitzenden der Politischen Kommission vorgestellt. Dabei handelt es sich um ein informelles Vorhaben, das den regional zuständigen Institutionen Grundlagen für künftige Entscheidungen geben soll. Mit dem Zukunftsbild werden Handlungsstrategien und Einzelmaßnahmen aufgezeigt, die aus der heutigen Perspektive den Aufbruch in die Zukunft der Großregion beschreiben.

At the suggestion of the Saarland, the seventh summit conference of the SaarLorLux region approved the formulation of a “picture of the future in 2020” for the international cooperation area of Saarland, Lothringen, Luxembourg, Rhineland-Palatinate, the Walloon Region and the French-speaking community and the German-speaking community of Belgium. The since completed picture of the future was presented by the Chairman of the Political Commission. It is an informal plan intended to provide the regional institutions responsible with a basis for future decisions. The picture of the future illustrates strategies for action and individual measures that describe the area’s progression into the future from a current perspective.
