Hacia una revitalización del potencial crítico de la psicología cualitativa

Abstract

"Qualitative Psychologie ist von Institutionen kooptiert worden, die wissenschaftliche Rationalität und Moderne repräsentieren (mit einer Emphase auf Beobachtung, Messung und Kontrolle). Dieser Prozess hat zu einer Assimilation geführt, sodass Differenzen oder Opposition am Ende einer Politik unterlagen, die durch den Konsens und die Privilegien der größten Gruppe vorgegeben wurde. Auf diese Weise haben die Institutionalisierung qualitativer Forschung und der Druck in Richtung traditioneller wissenschaftlicher Paradigmen qualitative Psychologie ihres kritischen Potenzials beraubt. Deshalb unternehmen die Autoren eine Sichtung der epistemologischen und ontologischen Grundannahmen qualitativer Psychologie und schlagen alternative Methoden (u.a. kritische Diskursanalyse, feministische Epistemologien, kritische Ethnografie) vor, um deren kritisches Potenzial zu reaktivieren." "Qualitative psychology has been co-opted by institutions that represent scientific rationality inherited from modernity (with its emphases on observation, measurement, and control). A process of cooptation involves an assimilationist attitude of ownership, where the difference or opposition adheres to a policy preset by the largest group's consensus and privilege. Through the institutionalization of qualitative research and its bond, sometimes forced-to traditional scientific paradigms, qualitative psychology loses its critical potential. Given this, the authors propose a critical review of the epistemological and ontological assumptions of qualitative psychology and propose alternative methods (such as critical discourse analysis, feminist epistemology, fractal method, critical ethnography, among others) to revitalize critical activity."
