Abstract

"In den vergangenen Jahren wurde immer wieder Besorgnis über die Auswirkungen von Einwanderung auf die Sozialpolitik geäußert. Eine zentrale Frage lautet, ob zunehmende Einwanderung dem Verhältnis von Bürgerinnen und Bürgern zum Sozialstaat schadet. Aktuelle Forschungsergebnisse am Beispiel von 17 entwickelten Demokratien zeigen, dass dem nicht so ist.
