Softwareintegrierte Lehre der Grounded-Theory-Methodologie

Abstract

Die Durchführung unserer praxisnahen Lehrveranstaltung beruht auf dem Verständnis, dass wir die Grounded-Theory-Methodology (GTM) als ein Handwerk ansehen, das in wesentlichen Anteilen lehrbar ist. Der erfolgreiche Aneignungsprozess bedarf des Kennens, Verstehens und Einübens der verfahrenstechnischen Schritte dieses Handwerks. In gleichem Maße ist es wichtig, Räume für die Entwicklung von reflexiven und analytischen Kompetenzen zu erhalten. Die Verfolgung eines Forschungsanliegens in der Lehre hilft, das Verständnis von GTM zu vertiefen, und bietet zugleich ein Übungs- und Reflexionsfeld. Dabei ist es uns wichtig, den Fokus auf die Lernprozesse der Studierenden zu legen und aktivitäts- und anwendungsorientierte Arbeitsformen gegenüber einem reinen Vermittlungslernen zu ermöglichen. Die Passung zwischen GTM und ATLAS.ti macht es möglich, die Nutzung der Software als Unterstützung der eigenen Datenanalyse zu erfahren.

The implementation of our hands-on seminar is based on the understanding of grounded theory methodology (GTM) as a craft that can be taught to a great extent. The successful learning process requires knowing, understanding and practising the procedural steps of this craft. It is also important to open up spaces for the development of reflexive and analytical competences. Having an orientation toward a research project within the teaching-learning process assists in deepening the understanding of GTM and provides a scope for practise and reflection at the same time. It is important for us to retain the student-centred nature of the teaching-learning process to enable active and praxis-oriented student engagement instead of focusing on the transmission of factual knowledge. The structural fit that exists between GTM and ATLAS.ti allows students to experience the software as a support in the analyses of their own data.

La implementación de nuestro seminario "a mano" se basa en el entendimiento de la metodología de teoría fundamentada (MTF) como una habilidad que puede ser enseñado en gran medida. El proceso de aprendizaje exitoso requiere saber, entender y practicar los pasos de procedimiento de esta habilidad. Tambien es importante abrir espacios para el desarollo de competencias reflexivas y analíticas. Tener una orientación hacia un proyecto de investigación en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje contribuye a mejorar el entendimiento de la MTF y brinda un campo para la práctica y la reflexión al mismo tiempo. Es importante para nosotros mantener la naturaleza del proceso de aprendizaje y enseñanza centrado en los estudiantes para posibilitar el involucramiento estudiantil activo y con orientación práctica en vez de concentrarnos a la transmisión de conocimientos factuales. El ajuste estructural entre MTF y ATLAS.ti permite a los estudiantes tener el software como un apoyo para el análisis de sus propios datos.
