Thesen zur Verwendung der Konzepte 'Soziales Problem' und 'Soziale Frage' in Deutschland

Abstract

'Der Artikel untersucht aus theoriegeschichtlicher Perspektive die Verwendung des Konzepts 'soziales Problem' vor dem Hintergrund der Rekonstruktion der Entwicklung des in der frühen deutschen sozialwissenschaftlichen Tradition dominierenden Konzepts der 'Sozialen Frage' und der Semantik des Begriffs 'sozial'. Überschneidungen und spezifische Differenzen werden benannt und die relativen Vorzüge diskutiert.' (Autorenreferat)

'This article analyses the application of the social problems concept in a historical perspective against the background of a reconstruction of the history of the concept 'sozial' (social) and the concept 'Soziale Frage' (social question) that was predominant in early sociological analysis in Germany.
