Wertideen und Wertbezüge einer Soziologie sozialer Probleme: zur epistemologischen und methodologischen Basis einer Soziologie sozialer Probleme

Abstract

'Die Einheitlichkeit eines soziologischen Gegenstandsbereichs 'soziale Probleme' ergibt sich daraus, daß diese als gesellschaftliche Bedingungen über eine öffentliche Mobilisierung als veränderbare Störungen des gesellschaftlichen Lebens thematisiert werden. Eine soziologische Bestimmung sozialer Probleme setzt deshalb eine Rekonstruktion der Werte und grundlegenden Wertideen, an denen gesellschaftliche Störungen als veränderbar konstruiert werden, voraus. Vor diesem Hintergrund werden in diesem Aufsatz der Stellenwert von Werten und Wertideen bei der Konstitution sozialer Probleme und bei ihrer soziologischen Analyse diskutiert. Der Autor plädiert damit für eine gesellschaftstheoretische Fundierung einer Soziologie sozialer Probleme, die die mikrosoziologische Rekonstruktion von Thematisierungsprozessen sozialer Probleme soziohistorisch begründet.' 'The unity of the sociological field of 'social problems' can be seen in the fact that social conditions are interpreted as changeable public disorder by a process of public mobilisation. A sociological definition of social problems therefore, requires a reconstruction of the central social values that guide the processes of construction of public disorders as changeable. Against this background this study discusses the significance of social values for the constitution of social problems and its sociological analyse. The author plaids for a macro-sociological basis of a sociology of social problems, which socio-historically explains micro-sociological assumptions about processes of problem construction.'
