Korrespondenzanalyse von Arbeitswerten in Ost- und Westdeutschland

Abstract

'Im Gegensatz zur Formalen Begriffsanalyse verwendet die Korrespondenzanalyse ein Abstandsmaß bei der Analyse von Kreuztabellen. Entscheidend für die Korrespondenzanalyse ist die gewählte Ausgangsdatentabelle. Anhand von Arbeitswerten aus der ALLBUS Baseline Studie 1991 wird verdeutlicht, wie Strukturen von Arbeitswerten in Graphiken der Korrespondenzanalyse sichtbar werden. Besonders einfach erkennbar ist am Schluß, daß die Hypothese von Alderfer über materielle, soziale und kognitive Arbeitsaspekte in diesem Zusammenhang nicht bestätigt werden kann.' (Autoenreferat)

'Unlike formal concept analysis, correspondence analysis relies on a distance measure to analyze matrix data. For correspondence analysis, the scaling chosen for the input data is particulary important. Using the data from the 1991 ALLBUS Basicline-study on work values in East and West Germany, we show that the structures found for the work values can be recovered in a graphical representation of correspondence analysis. Finally, we discuss how the results found in this context do not confirm Alderfer's hypothesis on existence, relatedness, and growth.' (author's abstract)|
