 abstract = {Bilateral relations between Ukraine and Slovakia had been neglected on both sides for a long time. However, the situation changed with Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine and a phase of friendly relations and constructive cooperation has ensued. After the Slovakian parliamentary elections in 2023 and the re-election of the Russia-friendly Prime Minister Robert Fico, relations cooled down again. Nevertheless, both sides are working together pragmatically. While Slovakia is guided by economic interests, Ukraine prioritizes security aspects.},
