Im Kontext migrationsbezogener Diversität werden vielfältige und teils auch widersprüchliche Erwartungen an Weiterbildungsorganisationen gerichtet. Vor diesem Hintergrund erkundet der Beitrag Potenziale von Organisationsentwicklung zur Optimierung von Weiterbildungsorganisationen. Diese Potenziale werden anhand eines Soll-Ist-Abgleichs divergierender Anforderungen skizziert, die sich aus politischen, bildungspraktischen und wissenschaftlichen Perspektiven an Weiterbildungsorganisationen richten. Das zu erreichende Optimum wird dabei als gangbarer Mittelweg zwischen divergierenden Erwartungen gefasst. Abschließend werden Potenziale eines differenzsensiblen Diversity Managements für Weiterbildungsorganisationen ausgelotet, diesen Mittelweg im Sinne reflexiver Organisationsentwicklung zu beschreiten.... view less

In the context of migration-related diversity, diverse and sometimes contradicting expectations are directed at adult education organizations. Against this background, the article explores the potential of organizational development to optimize adult education organizations. These potentials are outlined on the basis of an As is/To be - comparison of diverging expectations which are directed at adult education organizations from political, educational and scientific perspectives. The optimum to be achieved is seen as a viable middle course between diverging expectations. Finally, the potential of a difference-sensitive diversity management for adult education organizations will be explored in order to pursue this middle course in the sense of reflective organizational development.... view less
