%X This article examines the changes in the international mobility regime between Europe and Russia, which have affected thousands of people leading a transnational lifestyle. Sanctions that impede the movement of people between Russia and Europe have destroyed the previous structures and routes of mobility and created a new mobility (dis)order. I invite the reader on a journey along the Russian borderland from Norway to Estonia, examining the structural conditions and properties of the new mobility (dis)order and its manifestations in this territory, which is experiencing the effects of the new disorder in the most concentrated form.
