Since 2001, the "Wissenschaft weltoffen" project has analysed the internationalisation of higher education and science in Germany and around the world. The compact edition of the annual data report contains the latest internationalisation indicators, displayed as graphs. Indicators include facts and figures on international students in Germany, visits undertaken by German students abroad, the countries of origin and destination countries of internationally mobile students, and researcher mobility to and from Germany. The indicators presented are based on international data published by the OECD and UNESCO, national data from the Federal Statistical Office and on the findings of internal surveys among organisations that fund visits abroad.... view less
