Abstract

In the article on the basis of the analysis and synthesis of archival documents of materials, earlier inaccessible to a wide range of the readers of scientific works, activities of bodies of the public and military administration for modernization of artillery of Red army in days of the first five-years periods and on the eve of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 are investigated.
