Anmerkungen zur Methode einer theologischen Wirtschafts- und Sozialethik

Abstract

"Moderne theologische Wirtschafts- und Sozialethik sollte im Rahmen der wissenschaftstheoretischen Schritte 'Analyse, Synthese, Operationalisierung' erfolgen. Die christliche Wirtschafts- und Sozialethik erfüllt bei diesem Zuschnitt den Anspruch einer modernen theologischen Gerechtigkeitstheorie, die erstens ihr hermeneutisches Vorverständnis hinreichend klärt und analytisch an Problemstellungen herangeht, die zweitens auf der Basis eines hypothetischen Konsenses aller Betroffener zu normativen Theorien kommt und die als dritten Baustein die Implementation von Normen in reale wirtschaftliche Systemzusammenhänge gewährleistet. Theologische Wirtschafts- und Sozialethik kann auf diese Weise mit Hilfe ihres eigenen ethischen Instrumentariums sozialwissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse interdisziplinär mit normativer Theoriebildung verzahnen, ohne ihre spezifische theologische Ausrichtung aufzugeben." "Modern theological business and social ethics follows a method of three simultaneous steps: analyses, synthesis and operationalisation. A theological ethics in this mode meets the quest for a modern theory of justice, which discloses its understanding of hermeneutics and analysis the moral problems in the first step. In a second step this theory guaranties, that norms are justified by a hypothetical consensus of all persons that are concerned by the consequences of the underlying problems - this is called a paradigm of consensus. In a third step norms are managed to be implemented into economic, political, social and cultural contexts, which is done by the help of economic theory. In this way a theological business and social ethics can combine results of social sciences with a normative theory of justice in a way of interdisciplinary study without losing its specific Christian approach."
