"Analog zur Typisierung der SGB-II-Träger und Agenturbezirke im Hinblick auf ähnliche Arbeitsmarktbedingungen sollte eine Typisierung von Haupt-, Real- und Gesamtschulen entstehen, die unterschiedliche Rahmenbedingungen für den Übergang der Abgänger mit Haupt- oder Realschulabschluss in Ausbildung abbildet. Die Machbarkeitsstudie sollte klären, ob, und wenn ja, unter welchen Bedingungen dies unter Einhaltung wissenschaftlicher Standards überhaupt möglich ist und ggf. Lösungsansätze finden, die eine angestrebte Umsetzung möglich machen könnten. Bei einer grundsätzlichen Machbarkeit wäre der Steuerung ein Instrument in die Hand gegeben, das für den Aufbau eines Benchmarkingsystems für die vertiefte Berufsorientierung und die modellhafte Erprobung von Maßnahmen zur frühzeitigen Förderung von benachteiligten Jugendlichen in Schulen eingesetzt werden kann." "The project assessed whether a classification of secondary schools was possible with regard to their success in encouraging school-leavers to take up apprentice training or a comparable training scheme. The approach chosen intended to employ the same methods as were used in the classification of regional labour markets. For this feasibility study, process data from the Federal Employment Agency (BA) were applied, along with statistics on schools from the Federal Länder involved. We succeeded in identifying the former schools of a large number of young people who were found in the BA VerBIS and COMPAS.NT systems. The comparison of this information with school-leaver statistics indicated that it was in fact possible to use these data for our purposes. However, in the end we came to the conclusion that it was not possible to link these data to a target indicator. Despite good results in creating a data set of school-related data, we thus found that it was not possible to classify schools according to regional labour market classifications."
