Ausgehend von der konfliktiven Beziehung zwischen Solidarität und Differenz innerhalb der feministischen Theorietraditionen, plädiert der Beitrag für einen Begriff der differenten Differenz als notwendige Bedingung für ein zukünftiges, solidarisches Miteinander. Dieser wird durch das dialogische Aufeinandertreffen dreier Figurationen der Differenz entwickelt, die als Begriffspersonen präsentiert werden und die dem Denken Hélène Cixous', Donna Haraways und Trinh T. Minh-has entspringen - Medusa, Cyborg und Inappropriate/d Other. Starting from the conflicting relationship between solidarity and difference within feminist theory, the paper argues in favour of a concept of differential difference as a necessary condition for a future coexistence founded on solidarity. The concept will be explored through an encounter of three figures of difference drawing on the works of Hélène Cixous, Donna Haraway and Trinh T. Minh-ha: Medusa, Cyborg and Inappropriate/d Other.
