Ausgehend von einer Rekapitulation der jüngeren Debatte um neue methodologische Kategorien fragt der Beitrag nach dem Stellenwert machtanalytischer Perspektiven innerhalb der Praxeologischen Wissenssoziologie. In der Bezugnahme auf die vorhergehenden Debattenbeiträge wird eine Perspektive vorgeschlagen, die Macht als stets relationales, dem Subjekt aber gleichsam exteriores Phänomen denkt und die Differenz Subjekt/Objekt als relationale Positionierung innerhalb von Machtverhältnissen versteht. Die Perspektive wird im Dialog mit an Foucault anschließenden Konzepten, unter Rückgriff auf empirische Studien zum Phänomen der Rahmungsmacht sowie schließlich in Bezug auf die Frage nach den machtvollen Wirkungen 'algorithmischen Wissens' im Kontext digitaler Medialität entfaltet.... view less

After a brief recapitulation of the recent debate on new methodological categories, the current article brings to the fore questions of power-analytics within Praxeological Sociology of Knowledge. Referencing previous contributions to the debate, a perspective is proposed that frames power as a strictly relational phenomenon which is yet to be understood as a phenomenon external to the subject. Secondly, an understanding of the difference between subject and object as relational positionings within power relations is laid out. The argument will be developed in dialogue with Foucauldian concepts, with recourse to empirical studies on the phenomenon of framing power, and finally with reference to the question of the powerful effects of 'algorithmic knowledge' in the context of digital media.... view less
