Der Beitrag untersucht die Selbstinszenierungen und Deutungsmuster der weiblichen Wirtschaftselite. Die empirische Datengrundlage bilden aktuelle deutschsprachige Autobiographien erfolgreicher Spitzenmanagerinnen und Unternehmerinnen. Der Fokus liegt auf der Wirtschaftselite, da diese als finanzstärkste und mächtigste Elite gilt und damit sowohl eine starke symbolische Vorbildfunktion hat wie auch über großen gesellschaftlichen Einfluss verfügt. Basierend auf der Autobiographieanalyse rekonstruiert der vorliegende Beitrag, auf welche (Selbst-)Deutungen und Wissensrepertoires sich die Inhaberinnen von Spitzenpositionen beziehen, um die disparaten gesellschaftlichen Vorstellungen von Weiblichkeit und Führung zu bedienen.... view less

This article analyses the self-presentations and patterns of interpretation of the female business elite. The empirical data basis is formed by current German-language autobiographies of successful female top managers and entrepreneurs. The focus is on the business elite, since it is considered the financially strongest and thus most powerful elite that has both a strong symbolic role model function and great social influence. On the basis of autobiographical analysis, this article reconstructs which (self-)interpretations and knowledge repertoires the holders of top positions refer to in order to serve the disparate social ideas about femininity and leadership.... view less
