Die Bekämpfung der Covid-19-Pandemie in Gefängnissen stellte eine große Herausforderung dar. Die Möglichkeiten des social distancing sind begrenzt, viele Insassinnen und Insassen zählen zur vulnerablen Gruppe, und auf das Personal kann nicht verzichtet werden. Weltweit wird aus den Gefängnissen von einer enormen Übersterblickeit berichtet. Für die Schweizer Gefängnisse traf dies nicht zu. Hier konnte die Covid-19-Pandemie gut bewältigt werden. Im Buch werden Ergebnisse aus einer schweizweiten Studie in Gefängnissen zum Umgang und der Bewältigung der Pandemie vorgestellt. Das Buch eignet sich für Prakikerinnen und Praktiker im Vollzugswesen, sowie Personen, die in geschlossenen Kontexten arbeiten und Interessierte für den Themenbereich Strafvollzug.... view less

Combating the COVID-19 pandemic in prisons was a major challenge. The possibility of ensuring social distancing is small, many inmates are regarded as a vulnerable group and staff cannot be dispensed with. Worldwide, there are reports from prisons of an enormous number of cases. This was not the case in Swiss prisons. Here, the COVID-19 pandemic was managed well. This book presents results from a nationwide study in prisons on the handling and management of the pandemic.
