Das subjektive Erleben der digitalen Transformation ist in der Arbeits- und Industriesoziologie bislang noch nicht systematisch erforscht. Für die Menschen bedeutet sie einen grundlegenden Umbruch, in dem sich das Verhältnis von Handlungsmöglichkeiten und Handlungsbeschränkungen in verschiedenen Bereichen ihres Alltags neu sortiert. Wie diese Restrukturierung von Handlungsfähigkeit subjektiv wahrgenommen wird, hängt von dem Zusammenspiel der durch die gesellschaftlichen Gestaltungsbedingungen akzentuierten Bedeutungen der Digitalisierung mit den jeweils personalen Aneignungsvoraussetzungen ab. The question of how people experience the digital transformation has not yet been sufficiently systematically researched in the sociology of work and industry. For people, it means a fundamental upheaval in their everyday lives, in which the relationship between possibilities for action and restrictions on action in different areas of their everyday lives is re-sorted and which they experience differently. How this restructuring of agency is perceived depends on the interplay between the meanings accentuated by the social conditions of digitalisation and the personal preconditions for their subjective appropriation. This article exemplifies this relationship using empirical spotlights on the subjective experience of the automation of work in order to draw conclusions for further initiatives to research and shape the digital transformation for the people.... view less
