Der Beitrag behandelt die Relationierung von Moral und Interessen im Bewusstsein von Beschäftigten. Von den damals fokussierten objektiven Interessen der Lohnabhängigen hat sich der Fokus der Arbeits- und Industriesoziologie inzwischen auf die Handlungs- und Mobilisierungsrelevanz von normativen Ansprüchen verschoben. Solche Vereinseitigungen können mit dem Blick auf Interferenzen zwischen diesen Orientierungsrahmen vermieden werden. Auf Grundlage eines Forschungsprojekts, welches qualitativ das (verletzte) Leistungs- und Gerechtigkeitsempfinden von Sekretärinnen und ihre Arbeitskonflikte um ihre Eingruppierung untersucht, entwickelt der Artikel die These eines materialistischen Moralismus der Subjekte. Denn die untersuchten weiblichen Beschäftigten verweben und hierarchisieren Lohninteresse und Gerechtigkeitsansprüche. Ein Lohnanliegen wird demnach auch unter normativen Gesichtspunkten gedeutet, Interesse bleibt aber unverzichtbare analytische Dimension bei der Untersuchung subjektiver Orientierungen in Arbeitskonflikten.... view less

The following article deals with the relation of morals and interests in the consciousness of employees. The scientific focus of the sociology of work and industry has since shifted from the objective interests of wage earners to the relevance of their normative claims for action and mobilization. Such one-sidedness can be avoided by looking at the interferences between these frames of orientation. On the basis of a research project that qualitatively investigates secretaries’ (violated) sense of performance and justice and their labour conflicts over their classification, the article develops the thesis of a subjective materialistic moralism. For the female employees studied interweave and hierarchize wage interest and justice claims. Wage concerns are thus also interpreted from a normative point of view, but interest remains an indispensable analytical dimension in the study of subjective orientations in labour conflicts.... view less
