Depuis son accession à l’indépendance, la République Démocratique du Congo a connu plusieurs constitutions, de la loi fondamentale du 19 mai 1960 à la constitution du 18 février 2006, qui fait l’objet de cette étude dans sa dimension révision constitutionnelle. Cette constitution est non seulement la plus importante mais a été aussi la troisième à être adoptée par référendum après la constitution du 01 août 1964 et celle du 27 juin 1967.
