Dieser Beitrag stellt die Frage nach dem angemessenen Verhältnis von Begriffs- und Theoriebildung in den wissenssoziologischen Methoden der Sozialforschung. Besonderes Augenmerk wird auf das Verhältnis von der Praxis der Logik (propositionales Sprechen) und der Logik der Praxis (performatives Handeln) gelenkt. Mit Blick auf die Ergebnisse des neurobiologischen Konstruktivismus wird gezeigt, dass Begriffe wie Handlung, Subjekt, Diskurs und Verstehen oftmals zu kurz greifen. This article poses the question of the appropriate relationship between conceptualization and theorizing in the sociological methods of social research. Special attention is paid to the relationship between the practice of logic (propositional speech) and the logic of practice (performative action). With regard to the results of neurobiological constructivism, it is shown that concepts such as action, subject, discourse, and meaning often miss the point.
