Airlines und die Multilokalität des Flugpersonals

Abstract

Ein umfangreiches empirisches Forschungsprojekt zur Multilokalität des Flugpersonals und zur Lebensführung speziell von Pilotinnen und Piloten zeigt verschiedene Formen des multilokalen Wohnens und unterschiedliche Bewältigungsstrategien, deren Vielfalt es - trotz unterschiedlicher Vor- und Nachteile - zu erhalten gilt. Eine besondere Rolle spielt dabei die betriebliche Gestaltung der Mobilität zum Beispiel mittels abgestimmter Unterstützungsmaßnahmen.

A comprehensive empirical research project about the multilocality of flight staff and living arrangements of pilots reveals diverse forms of multilocal habitation and various coping strategies. These various forms and strategies have specific advantages and disadvantages, but their diversity is definitely worthy of preservation. Company organisation of mobility, for instance by means of adapted support measures, plays a special role here.
