Das Integrationspanel: Ergebnisse zur Integration von Teilnehmernzu Beginn ihres Integrationskurses

Abstract

Das Working Paper stellt zunächst ausführlich das Forschungsprojekt "Integrationsverlauf von Integrationskursteilnehmern (Integrationspanel)" vor. Dieses hat zum Ziel, die Wirksamkeit und Nachhaltigkeit der Integrationskurse anhand einer Längsschnittstudie sowie der Befragung einer Kontrollgruppe zu analysieren. Anschließend erfolgt anhand der Daten der ersten Befragung, die zu Beginn der Integrationskurse im Sommer 2007 durchgeführt wurde, eine deskriptive Beschreibung der insgesamt 3960 befragten Integrationskursteilnehmer. Es wird dabei detailliert eingegangen auf die soziodemographische Struktur, die Sprachhintergründe, die Deutschkenntnisse sowie ein breites Spektrum von weiteren Integrationsaspekten der Teilnehmer. Die Analyse der subjektiven Beurteilung der Kurse durch die Teilnehmer schließt das Working Paper ab.

The Working Paper first introduces in detail the . Its objective is to analyse the effectiveness and sustainability of integration courses by means of a longitudinal study and by conducting a survey of a control group. Based on the data of the first survey, which was carried out at the beginning of integration courses in summer 2007, there follows a descriptive analysis of the 3,960 integration course participants surveyed. This involves a detailed analysis of the socio-demographic structure, language backgrounds, German-language skills and a broad spectrum of other aspects of integration with regard to the participants. The Working Paper concludes with an analysis of the subjective assessment of courses by the participants.
