Betriebsangehörige wurden befragt, einzelne im Rahmen einer Projektethnografie interviewt. Nach den Methoden werden die Fälle beschrieben und Handlungsempfehlungen abgeleitet. The aim of the study was to exemplarily investigate the influence of digitization in small metalworking companies in NRW on work and qualifications. Employees were questioned, some of them interviewed within the framework of project ethnography. First, the methods are described, then the cases and, finally, the derived recommendations for action.
