Sie arbeitet mit allerlei sinnentstellenden Übersetzungstricks und selektiven Zitatbelegen, die allein dem Ziel dienen, Platon als totalitären, ja rassistischen Vordenker des 20. Jahrhunderts zu präsentieren. Mehr noch aber muss irritieren, wie sehr Popper dabei seine eigenen wissenschaftsethischen Standards unterläuft. Seine Interpretation lässt es exakt an jener Redlichkeit und Fairness fehlen, die er selbst allenthalben als Prinzipien der wissenschaftlichen Auseinandersetzung eingefordert hat.... view less

Deceitful in translation and selective in citation he twists the original meaning of Plato’s statements to portray him as a thinker who paved the way for the 20th century totalitarianism and racialism ideologies. Popper's method appears even more dubious when taking into account that he postulates correctness and fairness as basic conditions in the scientific discourse.... view less
