En Teoría de la Acción Comunicativa (1982), Jürgen Habermas articula la complejidad de su trabajo alrededor de la "racionalidad comunicativa" como tema central de su teoría de la sociedad. Desarrolla este tema a través de la filosofía analítica del lenguaje, la hermenéutica, la antropología de la cultura, la Teoría de Sistemas, la Teoría Crítica, etcétera. De manera que no resulta siempre fácil mantener presente el objetivo que orienta su trabajo, ni diferenciarlo de lo que, en no pocas ocasiones, da la idea de que se trata de una historia de la teoría. In the construction of his Theory of Communicative Action, first appeared on 1982, Jurgen Habermas focused his attention on the concept of "communicative rationality" as the key point for understanding society. In the building of this theory Habermas has a corresponding range of approaches with linguistic, philosophical analysis and hermeneutics, as well as system theory, and some others. All this wide-ranging inquiry often hinders the understanding of the object he discusses to the extent that sometimes it has been understood as a history of theory. This article attempts to go further in Haberma's own understanding and insights in regard with the following considerations: 1. Theory of rationality; 2.
