El futuro del sistema de partidos

Abstract

En este artículo el autor examina las condiciones políticas que se establecen una vez que el sistema de gobierno basado en la hegemonía unipartidista entra en crisis y, finalmente, se agota. A lo largo del escrito se sostiene la premisa de que en una situación post hegemónica -como la que actualmente vive México- es necesario establecer una nueva institucionalidad que permita no solamente el buen funcionamiento de los partidos, sino que también los conmine a transformarse de manera tal que cada uno de ellos logre consolidar su estructura e identidad.

The author reviews in this article the political conditions established once the government system based on the one-party hegemony erups into a crisis and comes to end. Throughout his study, he uphold the premise that in a post-hegemonic situation -as the one Mexico is actually living- it is necessary to establish a new institutionality that allows not only a good performanece of the political parties, but also forces them to transform in such a way that they may consolidate the structure and identity of each one of them.
