En este artículo, la autora aborda el acceso y la participación de las mujeres en la producción mediática como parte del derecho de ellas a la comunicación. Asimismo, se analizan, en este marco, el impulso que dio el feminismo al derecho humano a la comunicación hasta lograr que fuera reconocido a nivel internacional y nacional así como la participación marginal de las mujeres en los medios de comunicación, en México y otros países del mundo, en términos de propiedad, dirección y producción. In this article, the author explores the access and participation of women in the media production as part of their rights to communication. Also, she analyzes within this frame, the impulse that human rights in communication received from feminism, until it was recognized internationally as well as nationally and the marginal participation of women in the communication media in Mexico and other countries, in terms of property, direction and production.
